We’re excited to announce our 2026 in-person moulage training courses, designed for professionals in medical simulation and training environments where realism, safety, and clinical credibility matter.
At Real FX Simulation, our courses give participants the skills to create realistic, durable, and clinically accurate injury simulations. Training is delivered in small, hands-on groups, allowing for practical learning, discussion, and individual guidance.
Course Options
1-Day – Essentials in Moulage
Dates: 18th February 2026
21st February 2026
Learn the fundamentals of moulage, including:
Basic wound creation (abrasions, bruising, minor lacerations)
Colour theory and application for realistic injuries
Quick, practical moulage techniques
Introduction to silicone wound creations
Introduction to burn application
Safe, hygienic, and clinically aware practices
Who Should Attend: Medical educators, first responders, simulation technicians and beginners seeking a strong foundation in moulage.
2-Day – Advancing Essentials in Moulage
Dates: 19th & 20th February 2026
Build on foundational skills with advanced techniques, including:
Deep lacerations, burns, and fractures
Layering and texturing for lifelike injuries
Use of skin-safe silicones and other materials
Integration into training scenarios, planning, and preparation
Practical, realistic application emphasizing durability and clinical credibility
Who Should Attend: Participants with basic moulage knowledge (not a requirement) including training professionals, emergency responders, and educators looking to enhance their skills.
